Life Is Not An Abstract Concept

Once again, I read someone, with all good intentions, talking about "life" as an abstract concept.

There is no abstract concept "life". Life is the living. We've been taught to speak and think of some things as being material and some things being abstract or spiritual. We've been taught that what really matters is spiritual. How weird is that? Nothing is more disempowering. In order to get to our highest levels, we have to think of everything as actual. Life is actual. Love is the loving. Being is the being. There is nothing abstract about them. They are not just concepts.
The antidote to unhealthy materialism is Holy Materialism. God most dearly wants to be embodied, to be really real and actual. That is the ultimate accomplishment and the purpose of all creation. Love lives us.
