The Kabbalah - It's Not A Commodity and Not A Subject For Salon Conversation

I'm going to say the following about the Kabbalah, and no more.

No one who ever learned the Kabbalah set out to learn it. The
Kabbalah is given directly over by God to those who have dedicated
themselves to the quest for absolute justice and truth over many
years. God gives it only to those whose spirits are shattered and who
find no comfort in this world, those who have been profoundly
tormented by the lack of loving-kindness in the world. God decides
who will learn the Kabbalah and when, and only God teaches it. Often
the people who learn the Kabbalah were tormented to the point where
there is no healing for them and only God can heal them. The Kabbalah
cannot be rendered in any language but Hebrew. Those who have been
healed by the Kabbalah defend the secrets of it fiercely and find the
nonchalant popularization of pseudo-Kabbalah off-putting in the
extreme.
